CurrentLore may use AI-assisted tools, but editorial responsibility remains human.

How AI may be used

AI tools may assist with tasks such as brainstorming angles, organizing notes, transcription, summarizing source material for internal review, headline exploration, grammar, formatting and drafting support. These tools are treated as assistants, not authorities.

Human verification

Facts proposed by an AI system are not considered verified merely because they are presented confidently or include apparent citations. Writers and editors are responsible for checking factual claims against reliable sources before publication.

What we do not allow

CurrentLore does not knowingly publish fabricated quotes, invented interviews, nonexistent sources, false firsthand experiences or AI-generated claims presented as independently reported facts. We do not use AI to impersonate a real person or create deceptive evidence.

AI-generated images

AI-generated or heavily synthetic imagery may be used for conceptual illustration where appropriate, but it should not be presented in a way that could reasonably be mistaken for documentary evidence of an event. When synthetic imagery could be ambiguous, it should be labeled or otherwise made clear in context.

Authorship and accountability

Published work is attributed to the human author or editor responsible for the article. The byline represents responsibility for the finished work, including source verification and corrections.
